These Tunisian Spur Thighs hatched August 2020 

The Tunisian Spur-Thigh are a small species, only growing to around 6-8 inches in length.

We are currently experiencing delays with certificate applications, so this species will not be available for collection or delivery until January 2021.

They are our only non-hibernating species! Do Not hibernate this tortoise.

Important Notice

Please be aware that it is essential for a tortoise to have access to UV light all year round for the growth of their shell and bones. They especially need it during the winter months when they are no longer able to go outside and in the first 12 months when they will not hibernate.

Please ensure you have your setup ready for your tortoise before purchasing your tortoise. We will always ask for photo evidence of your tortoise table and combination lighting before we book your delivery. If you are unsure of what you need, give us a call or drop us an email first.

This species needs to hibernate. Do Not hibernate during the first winter of ownership.
