Horsfield Tortoise (no setup)

Horsfields  are a very friendly breed, they are inquisitive and they love to climb and dig. During the summer months they very much enjoy being in an outside enclosure soaking up the natural sunlight. Indoor enclosure should be a tortoise table set up and not a vivarium.

Important Notice

Please be aware that it is essential for a tortoise to have access to UV light all year round for the growth of their shell and bones. They especially need it during the winter months when they are no longer able to go outside.

This species needs to hibernate. Do Not hibernate during the first winter of ownership.
