Pre orders are live on the website, all tortoises and packages are available on a first come first serve basis
Tortoises or Packages must be purchased in full to reserve that tortoise for yourself.
If you choose the delivery option, you will be charged for the delivery, at the time of ordering. (this can be refunded if you choose to collect or cancel your order)
Should you change your mind between waiting for the certificates to arrive and booking your delivery/collection, you will be able to request a full refund, with no added charges or fees for cancellation.
Dates for availability are only estimates, based on APHA's claim of returning applications within 15 working days, wait time is in the hands of APHA. We cannot ask them to put a rush on, this is their busiest time of the year too.
If you pre order a tortoise without a setup, please
ensure you have your tortoise table ready as soon as possible, in
order to avoid delays. We will contact you for photos of your setup
prior to delivery/collection bookings
We have currently removed the pick up from store option from our checkout, due to the government restrictions. As the future in the matter is currently unknown, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to collect your tortoise. However, if you pay for delivery and we are allowed to re open before your tortoise is delivered, we will be able to offer you a collection and refund the delivery fee. Please state your preference in the comments in checkout, to make it easier to find those wanting to collect. We are working on putting the option for collection back on the website for tortoises only.
Following the recent updates on shops reopening, we've taken some time to really think about our own situation, as a small business and personally.
We feel it is not yet time to reopen to the public, but we are working on making our workplace safe for visitors to collect their pre-ordered tortoises and setups, later in the year.
Those who have pre ordered are already aware of the timescales for availability. As detailed in your pre order email, you will receive a booking email when the tortoises are ready for their new homes. This email will contain the option for collection (and a refund of your delivery fee), with instructions on how we will process your collection.
For complete clarity, we would like you to be aware that we will not being allowing children on the premises. If you are coming alone with a child, we will have measures in place for a drop off to your parked car outside of our premises.
Non tortoise orders will remain delivery only for the foreseeable future, to keep traffic through our door to a minimum.
As a team of two, we cannot afford to take health risks at a time when the virus is still very much a threat.
